It´s a pleasure that you are here and that you are interested in my work. Here you will find some information about me and my approach to photography.

I have always found it difficult to formulate „what makes me different from others“. From my couples, I have heard a whole range of descriptions.

But what is different about me? My approach, I would say. A soft footprint, from the point of view of a guest with a camera who loves raw emotions, authentic moments and a poetic visual language .

Photographer, Artist, Storyteller

I have been a photographer, artist and storyteller for over 10 years. I accompany weddings because I want to capture the poetry of love and all that emotions in my pictures. I believe that everything happens for a reason and love is something mystical.
My pictures are more than just photos, they are poetic stories full of love, raw emotions, candid moments and aesthetics that will stay with my couples for the rest of their lives. Stories that are emotionally touching, timeless and romantic. Quiet moments and loud laughter, melancholy and joy – all this is part of life and also of you and your wedding day. – There is no light without the shadow.

I am an observer, I pay attention to the smallest moments and capture them for you. Emotions that are only visible for just a moment and in such a way that the soul of this moment becomes visible in the picture. Small details are important to tell extraordinary stories. – Your story.
Sometimes romantic, sometimes moody, but always authentic.

I love portraying you as you really are, with all your rough edges and true nature. That’s why a trustfull and friendly relationship with all my couples is so important to me. This is the basis for creating these genuine and emotional images.

Besides photography my biggest passion is travelling. Nothing comes close! Immersing myself in new places, experiencing new things, I never feel more alive than when I’m travelling.

    Japan, Bali, Georgia, Norway, Mexico, Oman
  • I love tattoos and have a few myself.
  • I can’t do anything without a cup of black coffee in the morning.
    But I also love tea.
  • I love „bad weather“.
    Rainy days with clouds, fog and dramatic lighting.
  • I love woods, mountains and wilderness.
    But I’m also always happy when I see the ocean and wonder why I don’t do that more often.
  • I draw inspiration from poems, music, old paintings and of cause from cinema.
  • I like to read. But I also write my own texts.
  • I am also very inspired by nature.

I have been living with my partner Sarah for 7 years. We met in the mountains and both of us love being outdoors. There is a forest outside our house with a small waterfall where we like to go. Sarah and I started our own business 4 years ago. She is an international wedding videographer and film maker. Under the name Filmtau you will find our work as a photography and film team. We live and work together, supporting and inspiring each other. If you are interested in a wedding film, please let me know.
